Hmm didn't actually think about it for vehicles, only for repairing aliens like Vas but that's a really good thought. Maybe all Voyant glue is actually just a bunch of nanobots.

I actually don't think of your characters as "aliens", just "people". Maybe it's because I'm binge-reading Iain M. Banks' "Culture" series.
I get tickled at the thought of a multi-purpose mending/construction/repair medium that can be used on both biological and mechanical systems. The "modern" equilavent of duct-tape...
