That's an interresting take - it's harder for an enemy to see if it injured you if it can't see your blood. Similar to the reason the British Empire troops wore scarlet uniforms.
I wonder if, when they get knocked out, if they lose that conscious control. The appearance of blood would be a good indication of their injuries for medical staff... lol
